Honey was saved from the auction by my friend Kay, she is 8 mo pregnant (Honey, not Kay) and so sweet. (Honey, not Kay)

Most of the horses in todays auctions head to Mexico or Canada for slaughter, so Kays actions in helping get this very lovely mare to safety was such a good thing. A lot of the horses die in transit, and the abuse they get if they get there is too evil to think about. Honey and her baby will have a great future. Remember this when you have to sell or release your horse, this is where they may go. The road to hell.

UPDATE.

 Honey was adopted today by one of the most loving ladies a horse could ever have. The bond between these two brings tears to my eyes. I thought I was way passed tears, but they did it to me again today. This mare and her new person have magic. God bless you Cathy for giving this lovely mare a real chance at a lifetime of love.
