These poor old girls were signed over after a long winter of starvation and cold. Their halters had grown into their faces, but the sores are healed and they are doing well. We have a great rescue home for them when they recover their weight and their sparkle comes back. Kudos to Dawn and Charlotte for their persistence and caring.

UPDATE

Here are the newest members of the Project Spirit family, John and Ginnie. John is known around here as the CandyMan.  (Or the carrot man) as he comes armed with oceans of them. This lovely couple piles on tons of love and affection to those who are starved of both. John is also a master fence fixer…yeaaa John. We are lucky to have such goodness around us. The Arabs are their biggest fans, can you tell? 

UPDATE

Tiz,  Taz,and Gertie went to their new home in Chiloquin. They were last seen racing around a huge pasture acting like 2 yr olds that had just escaped from the county jail. It was a joy to see them so free and in good hands for their forever home.
